We require cancellations at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or missed appointments will incur a fee, as each slot is reserved exclusively for your health needs.
The goal of the Nurse Practitioners who independently operate Elite Telehealth is to provide quality health care to patients in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only to the providers, but other patients as well. When you book an appointment with us you will be made aware of our policy regarding missed appointment, no shows and late cancelations.
When you book your appointment, you are holding an appointment that is no longer available to other patients. In order to be respectful of everyone’s time, please inform the practice as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.
Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time and also allow them to access the health care they need.
A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling within 24 hours of the booked appointment.
In either case, we will charge the patient the patient the full missed appt fee with no Medicare rebate available.
